Mini Units

I have taught kindergarten for 13 years. Now that I have been teaching 2nd grade, I am having to create additional resources for my kids. This has been a fun and exciting year but I am like......feeling my way through. Next year, Lord's willing, I will be prepared. I will know what skills to teach first and create additional resources from there. I will also add some kinder and 1st grade things as well to TPT. Kindergarten is soooooo dear to my heart, but I don't want to go back. I LOVE SECOND GRADE!!!! Thank you God for your Mercy and Grace! Have any of you changed grade levels this year? If so from what to what? Did you go kicking and screaming? Or did you welcome the change? What got you through? For me it was and will always be God's grace!

Alien Mini Unit

I have purchased so many graphics from Scrappin Doodle. The latest one was of some cute little aliens. Our school recently hosted a Scholastic's book fair and I bought the book Aliens in Underpants save the World. This is such a cute book. I am creating some ELA activities to go along with. I am hoping to have it available in TPT ASAP.

Sorry its been so long! I am sooo happy I was moved to second grade. with that being said, I haven't posted much. I am going to try my hand at creating mini units for you. Here is a freebie that you can have. I maybe tooo late, but there's always next year!

OMG!!

I can't believe how long its been since my last post. I need to do better. I have been reading so many different blogs to get inspiration for my new grade level. I taught kindergarten for so long that I was beginning to think like one:-)


Now that I am in second grade, there is NO going back. I absolutely love this grade. I will take picks of some wonderful things we have been doing once we are back in school.
