Horton Hears a Who!!!!

I also love this story. My students were able to listen to the story and answer comprehensive questions and then watch the movie. We compared the movie vs. the book. To their surprise there were big differences. Here are some math and ELA ( english language arts) skills that were covered:
rhyming, color words, and syllables. I used the kangaroo and joey from the Animal Kingdom cart. For math we covered one to one correspondence, sequencing numbers 1-50, and counting sets of coins as well as identifying coins and their values.

You have such cute ideas! I have been thinking for sometime that I need to use my Cricut to make educational activities for my kiddos at school. So far I've only used it for bulletin boards (and cards of course). I'm a new follower! TFS
